A few years ago I attended the 10 year anniversary of this group of Year 12s. One of the girls present was Arna Karick. She was just about to leave for the USA after developing a device for detecting landmines. I haven't heard from her since, but I was very proud. Eileen Kim was also one of my Year 12 students who went on to become an Engineer. She told me that she loved bossing around the men at her work!
