The world lost a beautiful person this year - Jill Vines. She worked at TC for many years before moving to Mentone Girls'. Jill died unexpectedly at home. It was the largest funeral that I have ever been to. A great tribute to a great lady. She was known as the teacher who loved purple. The funniest prank ever perpetuated at TC by the outgoing Yr 12s was when they redecorated Jill's office in Orange (her least favourite colour). Complete with orange curtains, pencils, lights, sticky tape dispenser, everything. I heard Jill screaming from my office!
