In 2001, Margaret Webb organised a meeting between a number of staff and external people to create 'Girlsurf'. Warrick Wynne and myself became the organisers of the event. The first of which was held at 'The Pines' in Westernport Bay. We had a number of schools participate from around the Peninsula and Phillip Island.
